Jawabannya sedangkal: Itu nama panggung. Ketika dugem semasa di Singapur, tiap kali nyebut ‘Margareta’ selalu dikira ‘Margarita. Atau mungkin karena blog ini banyak berawal dari obrolan ngalor ngidur perempuan pengangguran miskin lapar tapi pingin gaul di Tequilla Bar dimana selepas midnight, dengan S$5 bisa mendapatkan Margarita plus semangkuk tortilla. Lalu Margarita menjadi identitas karena sifatnya yang ceria, ‘kenceng’ dan bisa dicampur dengan buah apa saja. When I wrote it, I've never intended it to be a good writing, it was just mere a simple 'diary' of what I see and feel honestly in Singapore. it has been my habit to read before sleeping, and being very sleepy last night (at 3.30 am) i found 'after orchard' which my sister had bought. so i took it and read it, expecting nothing more than just 'bedtime reading'. usually (if i read textbooks or i'm very sleepy, or the book is not interesting) it takes about 10-20 minutes until i fall asleep.
but your book had made me stayed awake and went on to finish it at once. i thank you for writing such a beautiful book. it's actually quite 'messy' and 'unstructured' to my liking, but somehow you put the 'pieces of the puzzle' in a way that is somehow...beautiful.
i love reading and appreciate fine writing. and i have always felt that most of the time, it is not i who search for good books, instead, it is they who find me. so far, there are only a few books (previously intended as bedtime reading) which have been able to 'force' me to finish them until early in the morning.
for that, i salute you. may happiness walk with you in every step you take.
